LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Critics and other members of the media hoping to get a slip peek at the CW's upcoming series "90210" ar out of luck.
The network and producing studio issued a command Monday saying they won't be sending out DVDs of the highly anticipated show before its September 2 premiere.
"The CW and our studio apartment partner CBS Paramount Network Television have made the strategic marketing decision not to cRT screen '90210' for any media in pass on of its premiere," the statement aforesaid. "We're non hiding anything -- simply keeping a lid on '90210' until 9.02, riding the curiosity and anticipation into premiere night and letting all our constituents experience it at the same time."
The statement set the blog man into a frenzy of speculation about the calibre of the show, a contemporary version of Fox's long-running "Beverly Hills, 90210."
